Wednesday was a big day for us at ICX Media (and it had nothing to do with politics). We officially launched our first product, the ICX Media Creator Interface , and had the opportunity to announce the launch on Cheddar. In keeping with the times and our commitment to new age media, we saw Cheddar, a leading OTT video news network focused on millennials, as the perfect platform to announce our exciting launch.
This interview was also an opportunity for us to discuss the current state of digital video and share our vision of where the digital video industry is going as well as the pivotal role we believe our platform will play in that future. Digital video is without a doubt here to stay and will most certainly continue to grow in popularity. However, the ways creators distribute and promote their videos, the platforms that viewers use, and the means by which brands and media companies discover and collaborate with independent creators will continue to evolve and change. This is where we saw the opportunity to advance the industry by arming video creators with the tools they need to manage their online content as well as equip brands, media companies, and creators alike with the essential data needed to enact informed decisions and refine distribution and promotion strategies.
