Ori is the VP Of Data Science at Dstillery. Ori has a Ph.D. in Biostatistics from the University of California, Berkeley, where he worked on developing statistical methods for estimating causal effects. Ori was among the first in the programmatic display industry to identify the presence of bot traffic, and he co-authored the first patent for eliminating fraud from the ecosystem. In his 15-year career, he has built tools for evaluating asbestos settlements, created analyses for identifying fraudulent doctors, supported negotiations with railroad unions, and developed methods for estimating the impact of HIV drugs. Ori has received several awards for his work including Ogilvy Awards for ‘Big Data’ and ‘Innovation’, a KDD best paper award, and the Advertising Research Foundation’s Great Mind Award.
