Currently serving as Founder and Managing Director at Narragansett Ventures, an investment advisory firm focused on strategic innovation, digital business transformation, brand and marketing strategy and growth investing, Laura Lang has more than 25 years of experience in brand management, corporate strategy and strategic consulting and is well-known in the marketing and media landscape as a pioneer in the digital integrated marketing space.
In 2011, Laura was named TIME Inc.’s CEO, guiding the company’s focus toward the evolving digital market. As CEO of Digitas, she led the company’s growth into one of the largest global digital integrated marketing agencies in the world with over 32 offices across 19 countries.
Laura also served on the operating committee of Publicis Groupe where she was responsible for the Groupe’s pure play digital, mobile, and social companies, building the industry’s largest world-wide digital network.
Laura formerly served as President of the Marketing Corporation of America and led the consulting practice at Yankelovich Clancy Shulman. She also worked in strategic roles at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, Bristol Myers and the Quaker Oats Company.
Laura also serves on the Board of Directors of the VF Corporation, Steiner Leisure, and the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. In 2012 she was named one of the 100 most powerful women in the world by Forbes Magazine. A summa cum laude graduate of Tufts University, Laura holds an M.B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business.
